AFO coverage

Hello all,

Where can I find information on how often a new AFO is covered by Medicare and other insurances. Can a patient get a new i.e. solid ankle AFO ( L-1960) every new calender year?

If I am not mistaken they can only be provided a new AFO every 2 years. Can you advise on this Elizabeth?
