Florida Adaptive Golf was formulated approximately 10 years ago. PGA professional David Windsor is now the Executive Director. Programs are offered for adults, children, and American Veterans with disabilities. These programs are constructed to assist those with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. The program provides social interactions and demonstrates how essential life skills are related and applied to the game of golf. The program has special carts, solorider, custom adaptive golf clubs, training tools and equipment, and is taught by PGA professionals and specially trained instructors.
