Shiver me timbers, another group that does great things!!

Five years ago, a group of 12 decided over a pint of grog they wanted to have fun, but at the same time doing good for others would be in the mix. It was decided there would be no scallywags in the group, yet, they still continued to grow to over 45 in their krewe. Through their networking and the generosity of members, their employers and friends, they have been able to assist many amputees not only in the Tampa Bay area, but all over the United States.

Avast! That isn’t all! They have helped children with disabilities get modified bikes, helped in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, built ramps for new amputees, provided fun and caring support to children at Shriners Hospital and awarded scholarships for college. These individuals are true Buccaneers! These individuals will most certainly have a place in the Fiddlers Greens.

Being a member is not for Lily-Livered and is by invitation only. You must be a true pirate, in heart and spirit. They are true Matey’s and true to their cause of helping Peg Leg Pirates!

I hope to join them on their adventures in helping people and am happy to add them on my journey….
