Wellness, positive flow, and meditation...

Wellness is a personal passage, and there is no one-size-fits-all method to achieving wellness. The course begins when a person makes the decision to change the things in life that is not perpetuating positive flow or good health, and then steps into that direction of change. The change might be easy to commit to, for instance, increasing physical activity. The change might also be more challenging, for instance, finding time to meditate to allow the brain to be still.
Meditation is one method used to still and calm the brain, and it is powerful. Considering that the brain is our control center for every feeling, function, reaction, and condition; meditation is a nice practice to practice. During meditation, your energies are focused on one thing and by focusing on that one thing (or sound, or word), the clutter fades, and your brain is able to become still, and calm. Look at what you focus your energies on in the course of one day, good and bad – write it down. Where your energies are flowing? What would you change?
