Resources for amputees and other disabilities

As a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of
American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners, I am in charge of our fall journal which carries a theme of Life Care Planning for those with
amputation. Typically this means that I am in charge of locating articles for submission, sending them in to the board members for review and editing, meeting deadlines, making suggestions for topics and the like. I have made it a personal goal to also write at least two articles to be included in this journal.
In the next few weeks I will be posting resources that I have collected as part of my writing goal. I was surprised that there are numerous resources available, yet I was unaware of most of these despite my special interest in
amputation injury.
Please enjoy these resources and pass them along when appropriate. Many of the resources can be used for disabilities other than
amputation.
